Caterham School’s Netball Academy
The Caterham Netball Academy was set up in April this year in partnership with local Superleague franchise Surrey Storm. The Academy will aim to deliver sessions to all abilities across different age ranges with the view to develop fundamental technical skills as well as tactical game sense. The Academy is launching with two dates in May half term (Wednesday 30 May; Thursday 31 May). Each date will cater to different age groups and will be coached by Sam Houghton (Caterham Netball Academy Manager) as well as current Superleague players. On Wednesday Yaz Parsons; Storm mid courter and former England U21 International and Tallisa Haynes; Storm WD/C who captained the winning Nets International team. Both players playing expertise speak for themselves but their coaching backgrounds are also just comparable. We’re really pleased to be welcoming them to the Caterham soon.
