Thirteen students in the Sixth Form received some very good news on their return from their winter vacations as they discovered that they had been offered places at Oxford or Cambridge universities.
Headmaster Julian Thomas said: 'I am delighted for these students. It is an exceptional achievement to gain a place at these highly regarded universities. Whilst excellent academic standards are essential I believe that the additional experience of our enrichment programme will also have played a part. I am particularly pleased that the subjects that they have chosen cover such a wide spectrum, from Classics to Engineering. The offers being received from universities such as Imperial College and University College London augur well for another very successful group of Upper Sixth students.'
