Netball is thriving at Caterham and we have an excellent reputation within both the county and the region for the quality and success of our teams. The girls are encouraged to train hard, play hard, but most of all to enjoy themselves. Fixtures are played during the week and on Saturdays, with each age group having an A,B and C team (as well as a D team for the U12's). We compete in both the National Schools and Surrey Schools tournaments, as well as the District League and Trinity group tournaments.

The girls put a huge amount of time and effort into their netball, whether it is during games lessons, after-school practices, fixtures, skills club, shooting club or early morning fitness. As a result of this they experience many rewarding moments throughout the season, both as individuals and as teams. Recent highlights this season include both the U14's and the U18's advancing through to the Regional round of the National Schools Finals. The U18's went on to win the Surrey Schools Finals and be crowned Surrey Champions. We have many talented girls who we are able to put forward for trials for the Surrey Netball Satellite and County Academy trials. We currently have five players in the Satellite Academy, two of whom are in the elite squad, and we have four girls in the County Academy squad.

The School is exceptionally fortunate to have Miss Jaclyn Leach as Head of Netball,. Jaclyn has played netball at the very highest level (vice-captain of England U18's, Loughborough University 1st team, captain of English and British Universities, Player of the competition at British Universities Tournament) and is now using her expert knowledge to progress through the coaching ranks. As well as coaching Caterham teams, Jaclyn is also coach of the Surrey County academy. Through her contacts Jaclyn has arranged for the England netball captain, Karen Atkinson, to coach Caterham pupils and run coaching master classes with the Caterham staff. Karen will visit regularly in the future. The Caterham pupils have also benefitted from strength and conditioning sessions with English Institute of Sport strength and conditioning coach, Chris McCleod. Chris is the strength and conditioning coach for the England netball team so the Caterham pupils can be sure that their training is exactly what is required for top class performance in their sport.
