Teams: Open, U15, U14, U13, U12 (boys & girls)
Swimming is taught in mixed PE Curriculum lessons to all year groups up to the Sixth Form where it becomes optional. As well as regular galas with other schools, the teams take part in the District Galas, Trinity Open Meet, Surrey School's Championships and the prestigious Bath Cup at Crystal Palace – the competition for only the very strongest independent school swimming squads in the country. Swimming turnouts take place three times a week and include an early morning swim before school.
Caterham Swimming is going from strength to strength and pupil's put a huge amount of time and effort into their training. Recent highlights of the 2011/2012 season include Neve Morley winning the Lower Junior Individual Medley race and becoming Surrey Champion, and the senior squads performance at the Whitgift Invitational Gala and the Bath Cup in March. All squad members throughout the school should be congratulated for their outstanding performances.
