Beliefs Week

Beliefs Week

Beliefs Week has been a time for contemplation, thankfulness, asking questions, and listening to speakers with experience and knowledge on this topic.

It was brilliant to welcome Chine McDonald on Tuesday to speak about her career at Christian Aid, attend a seminar titled ‘Atheism and Finding purpose’ on Wednesday lunchtime, while on Friday the Gideons delivered an assembly to the Lower School.   The reflection space in the concourse has been somewhere to ask big questions, honour someone you miss, think about hopes and dreams, focus on purpose, and add to the tree of thankfulness. The Chaplaincy Team have also led assemblies, and our Christian Union were able to explore ideas and concepts that surround Belief, with guest Simon Qunicey from Kings Church, Oxted.
