Cats to 5k
As part of our PE department’s programme this half term, the new initiative of ‘Cats to 5K’ has been launched as an option for Sixth Form Games. Pupils are following a nine-week programme with the aim to run a full 5k route around our beautiful campus towards the end of this term. Pupils have been enjoying the interval sessions of the first two weeks, with routes that have taken them into and around the school’s woodland areas. In addition to the Wednesday games afternoon, the pupils are also completing two other running sessions per week, with the help of the BBC ‘Couch to 5k’ app. Keep up to date on their progress on Instagram @caterhamwellbeing, and download the BBC ‘Couch to 5k’ app if you would like to join in; a great way to get back to some running in the great outdoors.
