Humanities Symposium

On Tuesday 1 May, pupils, parents and guardians, and staff came together for the Humanities Symposium, considering the topic of ‘The Medieval World on the Move’. The audience enjoyed talks by Mr Terrell, Mr Cooper, Mrs Webster, Dr Gray and Miss O’Donnell and engaged in discussion about changing motivations and potential for travel; topics considered included climate change, the foundation of universities, pilgrims and heretics, architecture and plunder, literary works and characters, gender and travel.
