Swimming pool

Our heated pool is 25m x 13m and has 6 lanes with individual diving blocks and a pace clock, perfect for club bookings. It can also be used for recreational sports such as water polo, underwater hockey and scuba. The deep end is 2.0m and the shallow end is 1.2m.  

We have male, female and disabled wet changing rooms that bring you directly onto the poolside and a viewing balcony above which can be accessed from the main sports centre. 

Birthday Parties

We are also available to hire for children’s birthday parties at weekends or during the week in school holidays. You can book a whole pool or half a pool for one hour slots which include pool equipment such as floats, noodles, inflatable balls and floating basketball hoops. Please note if you book a half pool this is split lengthways so does include both shallow and deep ends.  

A qualified lifeguard is present throughout however depending upon the children’s age range we do ask that your group has the following adult to child ratios:

8+ years	can swim unsupervised
5-7 years	1 adult to every 3 children in the pool
4 years and under	1 adult to every child in the pool

To enhance your booking you can also include the hire of the Stephen Smith room for post party food and drinks.
