Amnesty Campaign: Write for Rights
The Sixth Form Amnesty group ran a ‘Write for Rights’ event in the library this week. Following assemblies to raise awareness of Amnesty and the issues at stake, staff and pupils from every section of the school dropped in to write letters to people in authority to influence, and to the victims of injustice to show support. ‘It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness’.
