Lunchtime Live Review

Lunchtime Live Review

On Thursday 3 October we had the first of our Lunchtime Live series for the 2018/19 season. It was fantastic to see some of our hugely talented young musicians perform.

The concert began with a performance of the much-loved C# minor Nocturne by Chopin that was performed by Louis (Fifth Year). It was a performance with energy and character.

The concert consisted of several second year pupils, all of whom performed their pieces with musicianship and conviction. These pupils were: Pia (flute), Jae (cello), Fin (tuba), Megan (tenor horn), Ammara (clarinet) and Philip (violin).

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all pupils who performed. The next Lunchtime Live is on Thursday 8 November. Lunchtime Live concerts are open to all pupils, whether they have lessons at or outside school. If you or your son/daughter would like to get involved in this fantastic concert series, please speak to one of the music department staff.
