Witchborn Author Visit
Nick Bowling, author, stand-up comic, musician and Latin teacher visited School to talk to First Year pupils about his novel Witchborn which has been shortlisted for the 2019 Trinity Schools Book Award. Set in 1557, Witchborn is an exciting story of secrets, witchcraft and political intrigue. Nick’s stories of how to identify a witch which included the inventive use of a sieve and a pair of scissors had pupils enthralled.
