Hans Woyda Maths Competition
On Thursday 4 October, Caterham School hosted the first round of the Hans Woyda Maths competition against Wilson’s School. Alex (Third Year), Sophie (Fifth Year), Lucy (Lower Sixth), Hayley (Upper Sixth) represented Caterham School. Both teams started the competition really well, and after the first three rounds Caterham School was up by just four points. Caterham manage to increase the lead to six marks after rounds three and four (showing great teamwork in the group round). Entering the final round Caterham was still in lead (of four marks), but a strong finish secured a very well deserved victory (39-31).
It was a fantastic start of the Caterham Hans Woyda team and the pupils were very pleased with their effort and had great fun!
