Top Results for Team Caterham at Philosothon
On Wednesday ten Caterham students, two from each year from 3rd year to Upper Sixth travelled to Stowe School to compete in the Philosothon event.
This was a ‘discussion competition’ for the intellectually curious, aimed at discovering truth rather than “winning the argument”. The team were scored as individuals whose totals were then added together to give the overall school result. We were absolutely delighted to have been placed 5th out of 16 impressive schools, with each team member having come away from the experience with a real sense of enjoyment and having learnt a great deal. We have some outstanding philosophers in our midst!
