World Book Day
Teachers and pupils alike got stuck in to World Book Day with a host of lighthearted literary events. Themed dress was the order of the day with staff outfits identifying their favourite book heroes. The day started with House Assemblies highlighting students’ favourite reads on film. For those still looking for a book to partner up with the library hosted Book Blind Date – your blind choice of title from a selection of three. Our older pupils passed on their enthusiasm for books by reading with younger pupils from Caterham Prep and St. John’s School. A treasure hunt around the school saw pupils solving bookish clues to track down a prize.
