LAE Economics Collaboration & Event Invitation
Wednesday afternoon saw 11 of Caterham’s Lower Sixth Form Economists virtually meet up with nine of their counterparts from the London Academy of Excellence (LAE). ‘Economic Policy Post-lockdown’ was the topic of discussion and a healthy debate soon ensued. What were the best policies announced in the Budget? Did it go far enough? Should we be worried about looming tax rises? What other policies should the Government be considering? Clearly opinion was divided on how best to kick-start 2021’s Economic recovery, however all can agree that it was a fantastic session! Well done to everyone involved and looking forward to our next collaboration!
EVENT INVITATION
LAE is holding a virtual event on Monday 22 March and would like to extend invitations to our school community. The aim of the event, which will take place from 6.00-7.00pm via MS Teams, is to provide an update about LAE’s key challenges and successes in the past 12 months. There will also be an opportunity to hear from some current LAE students about their experience of learning through lockdown and about how the school has supported them through this period.
