Lerang’wa Lunches Bear Fruit

The garden at our partner school at Lerang’wa continues to bear fruit (and veg) with produce all year round.  Our Lerang’wa lunches fundraising financed the establishment of this garden.  Pupil numbers at Lerang’wa have increased from about 500 to 929 over the last year as nearby schools in Kenya were closed due to COVID.  Lerang’wa School won’t turn anyone away, and has become an important local hub, and our support for the provision of lunches a vital component of this community support.  Funds raised by Caterham pupils financed the establishment of the garden, and provides lunches for the children every school day. Whilst international travel is restricted, it is heartwarming to know that we can still work together with our partners and friends overseas.
