Carol Service
It was a joy to be able to return to a traditional format and setting for this year’s Carol Service which featured Chamber Choir and ETS performing wonderful anthems by Will Todd, James McMillan, Charles Villers-Stanford and Harold Darke’s beautiful setting of In The Bleak Midwinter. These stunning pieces, together with uplifting and striking descants in the congregational Carols made for a magnificent service to celebrate Christmas and showcase two of our choirs. Huge thanks must go to every singer for their hard work and professionalism in delivering such accomplished performances of some complex and vocally demanding masterpieces.
