Casey Mear Captains U18 Wales Hockey

Over the Easter weekend, Casey M in U6th made his debut for the Wales Hockey U18 national side, playing all three games in a tight series against a strong Ulster U19 team.

The series took place at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff (the home of Hoci Cymru) and Casey received the ultimate honour of being asked to take the captain’s armband and lead the side, for games two and three.

Work now continues towards securing a slot in the Wales squad for the European Championships in Alanya, Turkey in July.
