Sovereign Art Foundation Global Award Win!
In the Autumn Term we reported that Eugenie C (Third Year) and Zosh H (Lower Sixth) both won the Sovereign Art Foundation awards for London 2024. There were 950+ entries across nine regions. They were narrowed down to 180 finalists and 18 winners. As London winners, Eugenie and Zosh then progressed to compete against the winners of all the other participating countries.
I am extremely pleased to announce that Eugenie has won the Global award after scoring the highest number of public votes. Eugenie wins a further £400 for herself and another £1000 for the Art Department.
A big thank you to the Global judges who took the time to carefully assess these winning works: Arpita Akhanda, artist and winner of the Grand Prize for The 2025 Sovereign Art Foundation Asian Prize, Caroline Greyling, Museum Director of The Norval Foundation, Howard Bilton, Founder and Chairman of SAF, Tiffany Pinkstone, Executive director of SAF, Heidi Erdmann Rasch, Curator and art historian.
We would like to thank all of you who took the time to vote for Eugenie. This means a huge amount to her and to the Art Department.
