Musical Debuts at the Twilight Concert

Several of our First Year pupils (some performing for the first time) took part in our Twilight Concert and performed wonderfully. As always, the repertoire at our informal concert series was varied and diverse; everything from a vocal Spanish lullaby (Annabel S) to Jazz classics on the flute (Isaac K). Our First Year performers (Ollie B, Sophia A, Alejandro GB, Daniel X, Surina R) covered just about every other style of music between them (Baroque, Film Music, Romantic Music and more) and showed great confidence and potential to become our future musical stars. Penny LnT (fourth year) performed a beautiful version of Caro Mio Ben with poise and elegance and ending the concert, a ‘Twilight Concert veteran’ Lucy B (lower sixth) impressed with her virtuosic performance on the flute. The concert was a wonderful end to a busy day and particular congratulations to those who gave their debut public performance.
