Outstanding Exam Success

We are thrilled to celebrate Catherine Y achieving the Diploma of Colleague (CRCO) with the Royal College of Organists. This is a fantastic achievement for which Catherine was required to demonstrate her Organ performing skills as well as completing a Keyboard Skills Portfolio, consisting of Transposition at Sight, Score Reading, Hymn Playing and Repertoire Performance of an unknown piece.

She was also required to complete the Written Paper, demonstrating Aural Perception and Stylistic Techniques and Historical/Repertoire Studies. To complete this challenging and rigorous qualification at her age is extraordinarily rare and testament to Catherine’s superb musical talent and ability.

Catherine is one of our Music Scholars at the school and she has accompanied the school choirs at events such as Carol Services as well as on the Normandy Choir Tour in 2024.
