Ava Shines with PB in Triple Jump at Inter-County Champs!

Ava was honoured to be invited by the South of England Athletic Association (SEAA) to represent Surrey County in the Triple Jump at the Inter-County U15/U17 Athletics Championships, held in Oxford this week. 

The day was far from ideal, with heavy downpours making conditions tough for all athletes. The competition was intense, with top athletes from 11 counties battling it out for top positions trying to earn points for their respective counties. 
Ava’s event Triple Jump was the final event of the day, adding to the suspense. She delivered an outstanding performance, achieving a personal best of 10.00 meters and finishing 5th overall among the top county athletes in her category.

Her contribution helped Surrey secure 2nd place overall in the U15 Girls category, narrowly missing the top spot by just a few points. Ava was thrilled with her result and proud to have played a key role in Surrey’s success.
