Caterham Shines at Thomas Trophy

Caterham Shines at Thomas Trophy

Last Friday a minibus of Caterham pupils travelled to Sevenoaks Prep School for the Thomas Trophy, a cross-country event involving over 400 school children. Pupils from the First and Second Years competed in the U13 competition, and some of our older runners acted as Hares (pace setters) and Tortoises (sweepers) for the event. All the Caterham runners performed very well and enjoyed an excellent afternoon. The Hares and Tortoises were picked out by the organisers as being a great boon to the runners, and both our boys and girls teams ran well. The girls team placed second overall in their event with Genevieve M finishing 5th and Ella W 6th. For the boys Piers M finished in 4th place.

Well done to all those involved.
