Show Stopping Entertainment at Live Lounge
What better way to see in the half term break than another outstanding Live Lounge hosted in the Deayton Theatre after busy few weeks.
The evening kicked off with a little Noah Kahan and Bruno Mars, brilliantly sung by Abi C (Upper Sixth) and Aggie P (Fourth Year.) The audience were then treated to some ‘old school’ classics, including Sade’s ‘Is It A Crime’, Alannah Myles’ ‘Black Velvet’, The Smiths ‘This Night Has Opened My Eyes’ and Billy Joel’s ‘Vienna’ – a wonderfully eclectic mix of tracks beautifully performed by pupils.
It was wonderful to welcome some new faces to the evening’s line up – a huge well done to First Year pupils Ethan F and Amelia C who did themselves proud with performances of ‘I Ain’t Worried’ by OneRepublic and Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’.
After some Bastille, Dua Lipa and Benson Boone, Will C (Lower Sixth) round off the evening with a rousing version of Michael Bublé’s ‘Cry Me A River’ – a fantastic end to another excellent night.
Congratulations to all who performed.
