Josh D Shines on Senior Rugby Debut
Head boy and First XV Rugby captain Josh D bridged the gap between junior and senior rugby playing his first senior rugby match for Old Caterhamian’s RFC. Josh found time in his busy schedule to take on KCS Old boys in a league match which saw him play the full second half slotting five out of seven kicks at goal and his first senior try to wrap up a brilliant debut. His enthusiasm and leadership skills were commended by the club with further selection on the horizon for the next league fixture. He managed to link up with former pupils who currently play for the senior team.
Furthermore, we want to wish Josh well having been selected for the Lambs team. The Lambs exists to create openings for boys to showcase their rugby skills at a representative invitational level when they have been unable to do so due to other commitments or lack of selection opportunities. Josh will be involved against exhibition teams from around the country in the next term showcasing how competitive Caterham rugby currently is.
