Leading the Pack, Raising the Standard

Santiago A our current first XV pack leader has developed his game across the season. A player known for his contact skills and ability to read the game Santi has always led from the front. 

After a brilliant first season at senior level his retention by the Saracens player pathway has led to his development as a player. His confidence to lead set piece and demand standards of others has been bread through competing at pathway level. His exposure to Saracens by playing u17 games against Bristol Bears, Northampton, Gloucester & Sale alongside currently training with the U18 programme allow him to grow as a leader. 

It’s great to see the vice-captain of the rugby first XV push himself into greater heights. Santi has always been disciplined in his attitude to training and athletic development working on his physical development to be resilient in a competitive rugby landscape.
