TED Learning to be Heard, Global Public Speaking Challenge

Following Mia M’s entry to a TED learning to be heard global public speaking challenge, she has received notification that she has been awarded a 30% scholarship to the TED Summer School!  The competition faced a record number of submissions from students across the globe this year and the judges commented on the consistently high standard, originality, and care shown in developing ideas.  Feedback from the judges highlighted that Mia’s submission “stood out for its thoughtfulness, clarity, and potential.”  Mia is one of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship scholars in the Third Year.
