A Museum Fit for the King
What an exciting week it has been, as the first years’ work towards the launch of this year’s EDGE Museum. As part of their work on the upcoming Memory Museum, Rosie B and Daisy D shown some amazing initiative by writing to His Majesty The King. Their exhibit explores how Caterham School has celebrated royal events throughout its history, and they wanted to share their work with him.
To their absolute shock and delight, a reply arrived this week! Although His Majesty is unable to attend the opening of the Museum, he sent his warmest wishes for the project and wished everyone every success.
We are so proud of Rosie and Daisy for their curiosity, confidence and willingness to go the extra mile. Their initiative perfectly reflects the spirit of the EDGE curriculum.
Well done to you both. We cannot wait to see the Memory Museum in all its glory next week and celebrate the fantastic work of everyone involved.
