Giving Day 2026
We’re excited to announce that our next Giving Day will take place 24–25 March 2026.
Over 36 hours, our school community will come together to have fun and raise funds for the Transformational Bursaries Appeal alongside our Lerang’wa School partnership which change childrens’ lives.
Lerang’wa School
2026 marks 20 years of partnership with Lerang’wa Primary School, supporting education and opportunity for generations of children in rural Tanzania. With our collective support, boys and girls attending this school receive vital midday lunches, and we have built classrooms and teaching accommodation at the school.
Every school day at Lerang’wa, 900 boys and girls share a small number of toilets. It’s a daily reality that affects health, dignity, and attendance – and one that no child should face in order to learn. This Giving Day we are raising funds to build a new girls’ toilet block, providing safe, appropriate sanitation for female pupils – 450 of whom currently share just two toilets that are in poor condition. This simple but vital project will remove a significant barrier to learning. By supporting this appeal, you are helping protect girls’ education and making a lasting difference to daily life at Lerang’wa Primary School.
Transformational Bursaries
Through this fund we provide fully funded school places to children aged 11-18 years for whom an education at Caterham would not be possible. We work with local primary schools and the Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation to identify and offer places to children and young people facing challenging circumstances, who are from low-income households and who qualify for free school meals.
Our evidence shows that we are having a measurable impact, transforming individual life chances, and building a movement of inspirational role models. Every gift – large or small – collectively moves us closer to our goal of creating 40 Transformational Bursary places by 2030. The entire School also benefits from the diversity that this programme brings to our community too. Please help us to offer this opportunity to even more children.
