CATTalk – Latin’s Evolution into Modern Language

Neil Parker, Head of Spanish and Italian, will be presenting the next CATTalk, Latin’s evolution into modern language on Thursday 21 January at 7.30pm. He will be tracing the developments of the Latin language across Europe to see how and why it changed in different parts of the continent into the different languages that are spoken today. He will be giving some examples of the patterns that emerge within French, Spanish and Italian to illustrate common roots between those languages.

Invites will be sent to all pupils via Teams

For members of the Caterham School community that are not pupils, if you would like to join this online talk, please email oldcats@caterhamschool.co.uk to request a link.
