Elizabethan Theatre Festival

The Drama Department is very excited to announce that tickets for this year’s Elizabethan Theatre Festival are on sale!

The event will take place on 28 and 29 June with performances of two well-loved Shakespeare plays and two short Shakespeare-influenced plays performed in our outdoor Orchard Theatre at 7.00pm. This year we present abridged versions of As You Like it and The Winter’s Tale. We are also delighted to present an original short play written by Flora (Second Year) and an extract of the comedy Postcards from Shakespeare. 

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink to enjoy whilst they soak up the atmosphere and sunshine!  We suggest bringing blankets and cushions to sit on, as bench seating is limited.

Tickets for the performances are £5.00 and are available on Wisepay. You will not receive printed tickets – please bring Wisepay confirmation as proof of purchase. 

If the unthinkable happens and it pours with rain, the festival will go ahead. Performances will be moved to an indoor performance space.
