Rio Olympian to visit half term hockey camp

The Caterham School Hockey Academy are delighted to announce that Rio Olympian, Great Britain and England international star Michael Hoare will be joining us on the Tuesday 14 of our two day February half term camp.

Michael has a combined total of 114 international caps and has played at the Commonwealth Games, World League Final, Eurohockey Championships and most recently the Rio Olympics. At club level Michael has won the English National Premier League for the last two years and has competed in the last 16 of the Euro Hockey League with Wimbledon Hockey Club.

Michael will be joining us on the Tuesday of our camp and all players will have contact time on the pitch with him during the morning session. There will also be a Question and Answer session during the lunch break. Michael will then deliver a 2 hour masterclass to those players who have booked on to the special MASTERCLASS option. This option will be available to more advanced players in senior school years 7 – 11. There will be an afternoon session as normal for Non masterclass players.

Michael will be joined on the camp by ex-junior international and current premier league star Ben Tibble. Ben has many years’ experience playing in the National Premier League and has competed in the Junior World cup.
