Sixth Form Play VS09
Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 February
In our second year of running the Sixth Form Play initiative, Dante in the Lower Sixth Form has chosen to stage VS09 by Hayley Squires with a cast of fellow Lower Sixth actors. Accidentally in keeping with the setting of our senior production, Iphigenia at Aulis, VS09 will once again take us to the airport, only this time we’ll be pulling up a chair in its Skyline Bar and Eatery. We all know the scene: killing time in the airport restaurant, wondering if the full English is a good idea before a long flight and putting the world to rights with our travelling companions. Observing our fellow travellers, we spot those on a business trip, the couple trying to rekindle a lost flame and strangers meeting for the first time. Watching the world go by, you’re interrupted by the announcement that your plane is boarding, and those narratives you’ve been observing for the last hour stay behind unfinished.
Well not anymore. Come along to the Deayton Theatre on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th February to see how these tales unfold as three very different pairs wait for their flight to New York. £5 adults/ £3 concession + Caterham Pupils.
