1XV Rugby Team vs the 1X Lacrosse Team

The 1XV Rugby took on the 1X Lacrosse in a charity match raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now. This cause is close to our hearts, and we really would appreciate everyone’s support in helping us raise money and awareness — with £2080 already raised. The match took place on the astro at lunchtime, Thursday 11 December, and cookies were on sale to support this great cause while spectators enjoyed some entertaining lacrosse! The final score was 6-0 to the 1st lacrosse as the moved the ball faster with more accuracy down the pitch. The 1st rugby gave a valiant effort with their long passes and were very quick to ground balls. Look out for a re match in April!
