Art Scholars Mark Remembrance Day
The Art scholars in First to Fourth Year have worked collaboratively to produce beautifully sensitive displays for Remembrance Day. The banners feature the names of our Old Cats who lost their lives during war and combat, overlayed with poppies containing symbolic imagery.
They have also photographed hands from cross-sections of our current community and created mixed-media poppies to place in their palms. The message that ‘Peace is in Our Hands’ being a very poignant one. Please do visit the concourse before Sunday’s Remembrance Service to appreciate this beautiful work.
