Bee Ready for the Fun!
This March, Caterham School will be celebrating its third Giving Day. Giving Day is a chance for the whole school community to come together, have fun and raise money for two amazing projects.
Children in Prep and Pre Prep are invited to dress up (this is optional) on Tuesday 24 March in the following ways –
- Dressing up in stripey socks or tights (any colour)
- Wearing bee head accessories
During the school day Prep and Pre Prep pupils will also be taking part in a range of Bee inspired craft activities and having a lovely honey themed pudding for lunch. In the lead up to the day there will also be assemblies for the children about the charities and why we are raising money.
The two charities we will be raising money for this year are, Lerang’wa Primary School in Tanzania, who, in 2026, are celebrating 20 years of partnership with. The money we raise for the school will provide a new girls toilet block.
Our second charity is our Transformational Bursaries Fund – which provides school places to children aged 11-18 years for whom an education at Caterham would not be possible.
You will be receiving further communications in the coming weeks, with more information and details about how you can donate. In the meantime if you have any questions about the Giving Day, the Charities or any of the Development work please do get in touch at [email protected] you can also check out our latest Donor Report here
