Betty at the Swimming Kent Championships!

On Sunday 15 June, Betty took part in the Kent Artistic Swimming Championships and had a very successful day. In the figure competition – where athletes perform a series of set movements and are judged on execution, Betty earned a silver medal, narrowly missing out on gold to her duet partner Clara by just 0.59 of a point.  

The pair then performed their Kung Fu–themed routine, receiving their highest score of the season and taking home gold medals. Betty had arranged the music and choreography and designed the costumes – a skill she is continuing to develop as she works towards her goal of studying Fashion Contour at the London College of Fashion next year.
