Celebrating Oxbridge Offers
A huge congratulations goes out to each of the 14 Sixth Form pupils that have received offers from Cambridge and Oxford University this week. From a variety of colleges, the offers cover a wide spectrum of subjects from Philosophy, English Language and Literature, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Law, Human Sciences, Economics, Physics, History and Politics and the particularly competitive Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
Oxbridge is known for the rigorous application and interview process, a journey which pupils begin as early as Fifth Year and gain tailored guidance throughout. This forms part of Caterham School’s Sixth Form EDGE Pathways programme, which runs alongside support for UCAS applications. The programme provides all pupils with dedicated advice whatever their ambitions, whether that be Oxbridge, US and other international universities, degree apprenticeships, medicine, architecture or music and performing arts conservatoires.
Ceri Jones, Headmaster, said: “Our Sixth Form pupils should be incredibly proud of their outstanding achievements, and I extend my congratulations to each of them. Our longstanding success with Oxbridge offers is a testament to the academic ambition and energy at Caterham School. In an ever-changing post-school landscape, our focus remains on supporting and guiding pupils in achieving their aspirations and ensuring they reach their full potential.”
