Collecting for the Hygiene Bank

Collecting for the Hygiene Bank

Next week the PA will be holding it’s first collection for the local branch of The Hygiene Bank. This charity was nominated by one of our parents and though the PA constitution constrains us from a financial donating, as it doesn’t meet the educational criteria, we are able to act as a collection point to support them.

The Hygiene Bank’s belief is that basic hygiene is not a privilege. Their vision is for everyone in the UK to have access to affordable hygiene and their mission is to bring communities, businesses and thought leaders together to tackle hygiene poverty by giving access to products and being a voice for change.

The trailer will be in the car parks for both pre prep, prep and senior next week and we would be very grateful if you could donate any of the following items: nappies, baby wipes, cleaning wipes, toilet rolls, hairbrushes/hair ties, cotton wool balls, toothbrushes (adult and kid sizes), breast pads and maternity pads

Drop donations at below locations:

Wednesday 8 February – Pre-Prep car park

Thursday 9 February – Prep car park

Friday 10 February – Front of senior school

Saturday 11 February – Front of senior school
