Confident Performances at Twilight Concert

Musicians from First to Fourth Year performed at the Twilight Concert offering a great selection of pieces that ranged from early Baroque to a Spanish bolero. Debut performers from 1st year should be particularly commended: Elina L and Evan G, Joel G, who overcame nerves and gave wonderful performances. Seasoned performers included Mumu Z on Saxophone who played a fiendishly tricky, yet impressive piece. Yihu Y and George N gave accomplished performances that showed excellent musicianship. Aaradhana S’s beautiful aria was sung with poise and style and Oli B performed on flute with great confidence. Elliot W performed a hugely entertaining and energetic Spanish solo piece for cello, demonstrating excellent rhythm and style. Well done to all who took part. Twilight Concerts are informal and allow pupils to perform on their second study instrument and to prepare for music exams and build confidence. Pupils may sign up for these at the start of term.
