Estee Ends Season on a High with National Heptathlon Success

Estee Norman (Upper Sixth) has finished 4^th in the Senior Girls Heptathlon, in the English Schools Athletics combined events National Finals. This is a huge achievement, and we are so proud of her successes on the track. After a strong day 1; 100MH 15.73, High Jump 1.53m, Shot Put 9.04m, 200m 27.13s Estee found herself lying in 5^th place. A super day 2; Long Jump 5m41, Javelin 29m47 and a blistering win in the 800m 2:19.36 to finish.  

This ends a super year of athletics for Estee who is a member of our Caterham Athletic Programme and juggles her academics as well as representing the school’s 1^st team in both Lacrosse and Netball. She is a great example of an athlete who manages to maintain such high standards in all she does.
