Fantastic Results at the UKMT Intermediate Math Challenge
A fantastic haul of certificates for our Third to Fifth years who participated in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge last week.
Congratulations to the 152 participants of whom 44 achieved a Gold, 54 a Silver, and 31 a Bronze Certificate.
Special congratulations to Amritaa, William, Gideon and Adhrith from the Third Year; Henry, Emily, Jake, William, Nigel, Anthony, Catherine, Sissi and Tiantian from the Fourth Year; and Lucy, Michael, Hinson, Mannix, Kasper , Yihu, Leonid , Jaden, Jasmine, James, Rohan, Sunny and Mumu from the Fifth Year. All these budding Mathematicians qualified for the follow on round, the Grey (for Third Year) or Pink (for Fourth and Fifth year) Kangaroo.
Extra Special Congratulations to Vivian in the Third Year; Nathan, Rupert, Nicole and Jocob in the Fourth Year; and Jiayi and Florence in the Fifth Year. All of them have qualified for the especially gruelling Olympiad follow on round (the Cayley, Hamilton, or Maclaurin Olympiad).
And Extra Extra Special Congratulations to Vivian, Rupert, and Jiayi who took the Best in Year spots for their year group.
We wish them lots of luck for the follow-on Rounds take place on Thursday 19 March.
