History CLIO Prizes Awarded

History CLIO Prizes Awarded

Every half-term, the History Department award the CLIO History Prize to three pupils who show particular promise, aptitude, endeavour, and enthusiasm for the subject and are thus considered deserving of recognition. The prize is split three ways to recognise the talents of a senior, middle, and junior school historians, with all receiving a certificate, chocolate, and a book of their choosing. On this occasion, the intermediate prize was awarded to two pupils. Congratulations to our winners this half-term:

Senior Prize: Millie C chose Yuval Noah Harrari’s Sapiens.

Middle Prize: Ed J chose The Kiterunner by Khaled Hosseini & Casey M who picked Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth

Junior Prize: Ask a Historian was the choice of Ethan Tsang, by Greg Jenner
