Kicking Off the Twilight Concerts

Our first Twilight Concert of the year featured pupils across the year groups performing a wonderful variety of music ranging from lovely classical pieces, to a last-minute addition, on the saxophone (Alex J) of George Michael’s hit ‘Careless Whisper’. Twilight Concerts are an excellent opportunity for our musicians to play pieces in an informal setting- some choose to perform on their second or third instrument, other might choose to perform something that they are preparing for an exam. We always have a small, friendly audience of parents and staff who are always impressed by the display of talent from our musicians. In this particular concert, we heard from some experienced performers as well as some debut performers. Well done to all who took part!
