Learn an ‘Endangered Instrument’

Learn an ‘Endangered Instrument’

The Music Department continues to promote the learning of ‘endangered’ musical instruments to First and Second Years. There is currently some availability, starting next term, with our Visiting Music Teachers. Endangered instruments are those instruments that typically in a school setting, have the fewest number of pupils. These include: oboe, bassoon, tuba, French horn and viola.

If you would like to consider learning one of these instruments, please contact our Head of Instrumental Music, Dr Brammeld in the Music Department ([email protected] ) We are always excited and delighted to welcome new musicians and especially those taking on the challenge of one of the endangered instruments.
