Lower Sixth Economist Heading to Finals

Calin S, one of our Lower Sixth Economists, has reached the final of the UK Economics Olympiad after achieving a perfect score in the second-round last week. Out of around 1,700 students who entered the competition, just 25 have made it through to this stage, making Calin’s accomplishment particularly impressive.

The UK final will take place at Rochester College on Thursday 26th March. For the final event, the 25 finalists will be randomly divided into five teams of five. The winning team will earn the honour of representing the UK at the international finals, which will be held this summer in Suzhou, China.
