Lucy Makes South Africa Squad!

We are delighted to congratulate current Lax Cat Lucy A on her selection to represent South Africa at the African Lacrosse Sixes Championship.

Lucy has already built an impressive international record. She played for South Africa in a three-match series against the Czech Republic in Prague, and has since been selected for the South African Senior Lacrosse Team for the World Lacrosse Championships in Poland.

The Sixes Championship is an important first step on the road to qualification for the LA 2028 Olympic Games, where lacrosse will make its Olympic debut. South Africa is an up-and-coming nation on the lacrosse scene, and Lucy will be part of that journey from the very beginning.

Representing your country at international level is an incredible achievement and a testament to Lucy’s hard work, dedication and talent. We are immensely proud of her, and of the inspiration she provides to younger pupils who aspire to achieve excellence both on and off the field.

We wish Lucy the very best of luck at the championship and look forward to following her progress.
