Mille Shortlisted in University YouCreate Competition
University of Creative Arts, Canterbury
Subhead : YouCreate Competition
Art scholars participated in a YouCreate competition which runs annually with a different theme each year, through the University of Creative Arts in Canterbury. It is linked to the university’s Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF) outreach programme. This year’s theme was ‘Dreams’. The competition was open to school students aged 11 – 18 and could be submitted in any medium from film and photography, to sculpture and painting.
Millie C in First Year has been shortlisted to exhibit her competition entry showing the shadows of pencil sharpenings reflecting tiny people who represent her growth and development in Art over the years, at the UCA campus in Canterbury in July and prizewinners will be announced next month at the private view. She is in with a chance of winning an apple ipad or Amazon vouchers up to £150.
We wish Millie the very best of luck as she progresses to the final stage of this competition.
