Twilight Concert- invitation to perform

We are delighted to have spaces for instrumentalists and solo singers to perform at the next Twilight Concert in our beautiful Wilberforce Hall on Tuesday 23 September, 5.15pm.
Instrumentalists and singers of all ages and abilities are invited to sign-up (outside the music office). Music can be of any style. There is no audition for this event but we ask that pupils ensure a polished and confident performance. If accompaniments are required pupils should ensure they have the piano part which should be handed to the music office once they have signed up. There will be a rehearsal for soloists requiring accompaniment on the day at 4.00pm.

The deadline to sign-up is by Tuesday 16 September, midday.

Live Lounge- Singers wanted!

This term we see the return of the Live Lounge; a musical evening for singers and musicians to perform acoustic covers and original songs. We are keen for pupils to work together with the support of music staff. On the back of the BBC Live Lounge series and other such concert series, we invite pupils of all years to put themselves forward to perform their own versions of songs or their own compositions. A sign-up sheet is available on the noticeboard outside the Music Office. There is no formal audition for this event but we ask that pupils ensure a polished and confident performance.  Rehearsal will be arranged with you in advance. Pupils are responsible for providing sheet music in a suitable format.

The deadline to sign-up is by Friday 3 October.
