Ollie N seals the deal on Q5 Youth Panel

Congratulations to Ollie N who was delighted to share that he has been selected to join the Youth Panel run by Q5, a management consultancy that advises businesses on how they are organised and run. Each year Q5 chooses a small panel of Sixth Form students from across the UK to meet at their London office, sharing their perspective on business challenges and the future of work.

The selection process was thorough, involving a written application with long-answer questions on why Ollie wanted to join the panel, what value he could bring to it, and an outside interest of his, followed by a set of scenario-based questions testing how he would handle different group situations.

Ollie states that he applied because he liked the idea of building new skills and getting a proper understanding of what the consultancy sector is really like. Over the coming sessions, he was hoping to learn how real-world business deals are talked about and carried out, and to get a better understanding of how large projects and deals at big corporations are run and advised.

He says, “Being selected feels like a real privilege; it’s not an opportunity many students get, and I’m really looking forward to what the sessions will bring.”
